AWARDS FOR ALUMNI

  • Percy J. Power Memorial Award - This award was established to honor the late Chancellor, Percy J. Power, and is presented biennially to the three outstanding alumni of the past biennium as determined by the Supreme Senate. The International Office must receive nominations by June 1st prior to the convention.
  • Clarence W. Pierce Award - This award was established to honor the distinguished alumnus, Clarence W. Pierce, of Seattle, Washington, who has been an active member of the Fraternity for over half a century. It is presented biennially to the member who has done the most to assist the Fraternity in the area of expansion and reactivation. A committee composed of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and Master of Rolls determines the winner. The International Office must receive nominations by June 1st prior to the convention.

  • Outstanding Professor Award - This award is presented annually to the outstanding law professor and is determined by a committee composed of the Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, and Master Scholar. The International Office must receive nominations by June 1st in odd-numbered years, and June 30th in even-numbered years.

  • Silver Medallion - The Silver Medallion Award is presented for outstanding and extraordinary service to the Fraternity. This award is one of the Fraternity’s more prestigious awards. It is given only by resolution of the Supreme Senate.

  • Gold Medallion - The Gold Medallion Award is presented for outstanding and extraordinary service to the Fraternity over an extended period of time. This award is one of the Fraternity’s highest awards and second only to the Diamond Crowned Badge. It is given only by resolution of the International Senate or the Supreme Senate.

  • Diamond Crowned Badge - The Diamond Crowned Badge is the Fraternity’s highest award and is only awarded by resolution of the International Senate. Those members receiving this award have exemplified the objectives of Delta Theta Phi through their actions and service to the Fraternity. By tradition, this award is usually made to the immediate Past Chancellor.
